Squall has an official anti-drift status and is now also on the DRT list.

JANUARI 2021 – In combination with the 50/75/90% nozzles for downward spraying, you get 1 drift reduction step with Squall and injection. So the 90% cap gives 95% drift reduction with Squall injected. For this, Squall with 0.5% must be injected into the injection line with, for example, a Raven Sidekick Pro injection system. The syringe and injection amount must be logged and saved so that the authorities can verify that Squall has been used correctly. Squall is available in 10 liter cans and economical 1,000 liter IBC’s from any PPP supplier. Squall injection not only gives an extra reduction step, but also ensures that the droplets adhere to the leaf, spread and give a better coverage. So two birds with one stone!

Conditions:

Squall must be injected at 0.5%
The syringe rate and injection rate should be logged every minute for 1 hour and should be readable on the screen.
Raven Sidekick Pro (Raven.com) is an example of an injection system that can do this. TeeJet injection will probably be able to do this soon.

The injection of Squall also solves a second problem: nozzles from a high drift reduction category give a coarse spray pattern; large droplets that easily jump and roll off the blade and lead to poor coverage and performance. This makes the agents much less effective, especially when it comes to agents that have a contact effect. Squall, the liquid excipient Squall, which is available in 10 liter cans and economical 1000 liter IBC’s from every PPP supplier, is the solution here; it not only reduces the smallest drift-prone droplets, but also ensures that the droplets adhere better to the leaf and then spread. As a result, the coverage increases spectacularly.
